Still kicking this thing around.
As ShovelMike has said I will need to do something with the ignition so it fires right away with no delay.
If this was a car I would try MSD but is there a better place to look?

I have installed a kicker on a Road King.I seriously doubt you're gonna like it if you do it,the exhaust has to be heavily modified & the bags get in the way,couple that with the fact that it doesn't look like it belongs there (as opposed to the Knucks,Pans & Shovels) it just sticks out like a diamond in a pigs ass,very obtrusive & goofy looking.Just my opinion,but I would spend the considerable money it's gonna cost you on something else.

Well, I had to kick start my Cushman's, Triumph's, BSA's and Ducati's for half of my life.

While unique, it's not really that much fun.

Thank God for electric start (and fuel injection).
