| |  Well, I did it.....
Got my scooter back today after the new mods and thought I'd share with the class. Big ass fishtails, wide whites, and got rid of those ugly mags for wires off a RK. I've been advised I may need some safety cones around the back of the bike when I'm parked. Already tripped over them once. I was kinda nervous about how I'd like the pipes once they were mounted, but I think they're really SICK!!!!

Yeah, I think my wheelie days are over. Now, if I can just walk around this thing without killing myself I think I'll be good to go. And hopefully the local cops won't make me hang safety flags on them.....  |

The hardware store probably has some of those orange flags you could mount on your fishtails so you don't trip over them. Turned out really nice. Always been a fan of fishtails and the wire spoke wheels. |

Decided to run by a local Harley dealer here in SW Houston just to show off my new mods a bit and they had a huge catered dinner being setup. I wasn't sure what the event was, but the crowd was very sparse. Mind you the heat down here has been oppresive (106-108 the last week or better) but I figured a few diehards would show up. Come to find out the event was a bike wash for the ladies with male dancers from a strip club doing the washing. Upon learning that, I figured out why the small crowd and decided to make my getaway..... |
