The Retro-Glide has received another retromod in the form of Dagmar lights on the saddlebags. Put them on yesterday and I really like the look, but not crazy about the quality. The second one I installed I found a small imperfection in the chrome so it has to go back. And for almost 300 bucks for the LED version, I thought they'd be a little more......um, substantial? heavier? worth it? I guess they just seemed a little cheaply made. They also send you some black rubber trim to run around the edges and, for some reason, I'm not sure I'm crazy about it. Now I'm wondering if I should find someone to attempt to mold these things into the lids somehow.......Hmmmm.

I'm a fast learner. First time I rode it home I got off and immediately went around the back end and whacked myself in the shin. Since then no mishaps.
