Default Retro-Glide strikes again...

Ok, got the mini-apes on and now have a new problem to solve so I thought I'd ask the class. My new hand position makes the batwing mirrors fubar. My choices for mirrors are to add some regular handlebar mirrors or I've seen some that are made to mount in place of the windshield trim.

My question is, with the removal of the batwing mirrors I now have the holes to deal with. The proper fix is to remove the inner fairing and have the holes filled and the fairing painted. I'd rather not do this now and maybe wait until this winter.

Any ideas on what I can cover the holes with temporarily? Remember, ideas that add to the old school theme receive extra points. Winner will receive an exciting prize to be determined at a later date.

Thanks for the ideas. I like the spikes and the bullets. Maybe I could pop some caps from my 40 cal Glock and make something.

Now for my next trick. I'm going to attempt to install this Pioneer stereo with GPS. You know, old school meets new school!! I bought an aftermarket install kit from Biketronics and it's basically junk. Found another one from Hawg Wired and it looks a lot nicer and better made. Wish I had found it first, but it will be here Friday. I'll keep yall posted on my progress.....
