I have a 2009 Road King (FLHR) that I want to replace the stock seat with a solo seat. Wanting some suggestions on a comfortable seat and one that looks good with hard bags. Please help.

Not a Road King, but We had a Mustang seat on one bike and it was very nice! rode for many miles with that seat.

Go with the Mustang. I have a solo Mustang on my 07' street bob. I can ride that thing 1000 miles in 1 day and have no seat issues.
I did my iron butt ride with it.
Mustang seats all the way!!

Had a Mustang wide vintage on the 07 XL1200L before we sold it...great seat and it allowed many extra miles of riding per day!

I had a Mustang seat on my last bike. It was not a solo. I got it for one reason. Never got a complant from the boss!! ;-) Mustang would be a good choice.

Thanks for the info. Mustang gets all positive responses. Anyone know where to purchase a chrome solo seat rail?

I've been looking but only Corbin makes one and their price is out of sight. Love my Mustang but wanted that chrome grab rail like the old buddy seat. Might be something that would have to be custom made.

Can an existing one be modified t fit your seat??? might be easier, or cheaper to do that. I'd hafta see the parts to know for sure.
