Default Rim's and Tires

Hello to all, just a quick question in regard to my 2009 road king(flhr) i want to get some advise on some after market wheel and tire combo's that i am looking at. First off i am planning on keeping the factory rear wheel and tire, as i am only planning on looking at the front wheel. What my question is, is how big could i go in the front 21'' 19'' i have no idea, and also how wide of a rim should i get with it, i really appreciate the help. My hope is that i can go 21'' but i have no experience in this matter. Thanks

You can put a 21 x 3.5 on the front and I don't believe you'll have to modify/change your front fender. May be wrong on that one but confident on the wheel size.

Hey, thanks for the help do you think the bike will sit normal? what i mean will the front of the bike be raised so much that it will not look correct with using the factory rear wheel?

Hi Meiks

I just went out & measured my 21" front and my 16" front..

The 21 measured approx. 27" diameter..

The 16 approx. 25".

In that case the front end would be reaised about 1" +-..

Would look just fine and handling might feel a wee diff simply cuz of going to a 21"..

I've done swaps like that several times over the years..
Let your personal preference be your guide..
