Default Which bagger?

My wife sold her Deluxe after she traded her Volvo S60R for a Camaro (6 sp manual, of course) and decided that given a choice, the car will win.

So, I am considering trading the Springer for a bagger.

Advice? Is the Limited worth the $$ over "just" an Ultra?

Advantages to Road Kings?

If you trade for a bagger you just might really miss that Springer. Higher middle of gravity, not as light steering, several advantages though for 2 up. A few acquaintances that demo rode the well appointed Limited liked it other than the difference in performance from the 96 to the Ltd's 103 was not awe inspiring.

Just curious, but what is the price difference between the Ultra and the Limited?

I think the price difference up here might be $3500 but I'll double check. A buddy just ordered one for spring, comes with the 103, heated handgrips, really nice gauges and special paint. There must be more but I can't think of it right now.

I was told $3k flat. It takes a loaded Ultra (ABS, security) then it also comes with chromed wheels, standard luggauge rack, 12v power point in trunk, and special paint is a nice calm 2 tone jobber. Its SO worth it! I wouldn't second guess getting it. I wish they had it in 2009 when I got mine!

Cool Re: Which bagger?

I also have heard that the difference in price isn't justified based on performance. You are only gaining 7 cubic inches. A standard Ultra that is optioned out will run you a bit less and you may be happier in the long run. Is there a possibility you can arrange a test ride on each? Some of the options on the Limited are "nickel and dime " items that any handy person could install himself. The power point in the tour pack is readily available from a lot of sources, as an example. Ask specifically what you get for the extra money and then check the price on a fully optioned Ultra. Just my opinion.
