Default Review Of New H-D Brakes

Harley is proud to have upgraded the brakes on the newer motorcycles.

What do you think, are they better or just different?

I just rode a 2006 V-Rod with 8,000 miles and was quite disapointed with the warped rotors, which I hear is quite common.

Buzz,

Wish I had those brakes back in April before I did my airborne manuever

MY buddy has an 08 StreetGlide with ABS and he is extremely happy with them. He had an 03 RK prior. Says brake difference is night and day. Mike

Never been a fan of abs sience they put them on 4 wheel vehicels. still feel like i have more control when i can pump the brake pedal/lever to stop. I have not rode a new bike with this feature but i am very interested to test it out

I have a question - I have seen on American Thunder and several ads for "ceramic" disc's - they say they are much lighter - won't warp - does anyone have any experience with these rotors?

thanks
