Big BotzMan ........ don't you hear me when I call,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Yeah, John Lee Hooker sang about you huh..

I've used alota Goodridge brake lines and fittings because they are easy to find..
No probs with the lines but over time I've accumulated 5 of their fittings/adapters that won't thread on anything prob cuz of the chrome or poor machining or both..
Simply haven't taken time to chase them with a thread chaser yet..

Used to make my own brake lines with those pretty blue and red aluminum aircraft fittings but like I said Goodridge is easier to find..

,,,,,,,,,, you ain't so big, you just tall that's all................Yeah baby

Yeah Botz. I have a Goodridge brake line on the front brake on the Shovel. 6-7 years on it and no issues with it.

Hey Mike,

Sounds good. Just wanted to be sure it wasnt going to be a thorn in my side. The fittings looked a bit iffy to me. Glad to hear they hold up well. Mike

Default An3

The fittings are called an AN3. The bike had an unidentified brand of braided stainless steel brake line on it until the bike slipped off the lift some years ago while I was doing some adjustments after overhauling the top end. I broke the fitting off the master cylinder end of the line. I bought a Goodridge line the same length and needed to adapt to fit the master cylinder. I went to the auto parts store..no good. I went to an indy cycle shop and showed them what I had and that's when I got an education about AN3 fittings.
