Default Touring 2008 Road King

Anyone knows how can I get rid of the braking noise the brake pads/shoes seems like it's always touching. The dealer said it's normal and nothing is wrong as all newer bikes have that.
Thanks,
Matt

Can't HEAR the "braking-noise" you're asking about...'cuz I ain't there !!
But as far as brake-pads go...it's not abnormal for them to be "touching" rotors, to SOME extent. The main thing is that they not "drag" on the rotors...and, that your bike "rolls-freely" like when you PUSH it forward or back.

They are going to rub a bit. You notice any shuddering on braking? Just wanna make sure the rotor isnt warped.

Hi Maher
I think JC and Ken are right on---- However,,, is there any shuddering like JC asked..??

Disc brakes almost always touch a wee bit..
Maybe they're just getting worn in to the rotor..
However, often when the pistons don't retract enough it's because of improper brake bleeding.. Because your sickle is brand new that's prob not the cause..
I bet it's just wear-in noise that you're simply not used to hearing..

If you get alota grinding or vibration noises that's also fairly commom believe it or not.. You can get little Stick-On rubber pads that you stick on the back of the brake pads for that,, used em and they work pretty good..
