Haven't tried this on the scooter yet but when changing disc brake pads on light aircraft we used an oil can full of brake fluid to bleed the brakes. Fill a trigger-type oil can with clean fluid and put a hose on the nozzle. Shove the hose over the bleeder screw and open it and pump the fluid in. This drives the air up to, and out of, the master cylinder, which is the direction the air wants to go anyway.

Thankyou everyone for the info, had to borrow a set of metric 12 point sockets, then went at it with no problems. Thanks again.

I saw that somewhere else, I believe they reffered to that as reverse bleeding. I also saw where a guy got an old m/c cover and put an fitting thru it so he could attach a air hose to it and push 1 or2lbs of air thru the line. Of course you'd need a regulator to carefully achieve that . Made sense

JC if I am changing the fluid I back fill from the caliper up to the master, then I double check them by pumping. Works really well.
