We had one on display at the Edmonton Bikeshow, the weekend of Jan 16 - 18th. Not impressed at all with it. It was shown in grey primer, and it didnt do a thing for me. Looks like all the rest of the wannabe jap crap.

The 2010 Honda Fury is a very comfortable bike to sit "in". Nothing protrudes into your knees, everything is out of the way. However, there are some visual faults with this bike. First off, the welds look like they were done by a sixth grader, the exhaust is fugly, the rear tire is too skinny and that huge and fugly back fender that is several inches away from the skinny tire must be chopped and made in proportion to the skinny tire and get the license plate off to the side.. Clean up that fat arse in short. Sweet looking skoot till you get to the arse. (if you can get past the fact it's a Honda--I could) IMHO. It probably rides like a dream...

You guys are missing the point.

Honda makes bikes for people with a different perspective on motorcycling. If it looked too much like an American made chopper, it would be ridiculed. It looks like a cookie cutter chopper for those who like that style bike. And there are a lot of people that do. The Fury is a kinda cheesey, well made motorcycle that has some cool styling cues while not looking too threatening to those who just want to live the biker dream a couple times a month. It will start every time, requires little to no maintenance, and looks enough like a real chopper to a guy who's almost a biker and that's all that matters.

It's not for you! It doesn't pretend to be. It's for people who ride less and just want to play biker once or twice a month. Personally I think it will be a very successful model that a lot of people will enjoy while at the same time giving others something to complain about. Different worlds. Different bikes.

Uh Bob, it's been out for almost a year. We already know it's not a successful model.

I'm aware of that. I rode the bike in Daytona last year.

Right now, no bike is a "successful model." All manufacturers are bleeding. Whenever the market finally recovers, I'm betting the Fury will be a good selling bike to a specific audience.
