Dale Walksler Sets Motorcycle LSR Record At Maxton
Following up all the fun we had last October in Maxton with my 1931 Harley V setting 5 land speed records with my classic Harley, Dale Walksler and some pals went back this last weekend with his hot rod Harley 45 and set a new record in his class at over 90 miles per hour.
Now if you think 90 mph isn't fast for a modern Harley, you are right, but try it with a total loss, flathead, hand-shift, 3-speed, vintage Harley that is more than 70 years old. WOW!
