Default 1924 Harley JDCA vs Ex-Works BSA Triple & Matchless Single

Here is a photo of me on the track at speed having passed Don Emde on a factory BSA triple roadracer, and Dave Roper on a factory Matchless roadracer.

I never realized how fast the old Harley JDs were or how well they handled at speed.

Looks like you had a lot of fun up there. Is that a Captain America helmet you're wearing It looks like you were wise enough to remove the visor for aerodynamic reasons

It was a blast riding an 85 year old Harley around the Mid Ohio racetrack with the other bikes. I'd actually have enjoyed twisting the throttle a bit more to see what the old Harley would do. Of course there is no speedo on my 1924 Harley but someone would have been able to radar me.

The helmet is an old Pudding Bowl British style helmet from Davida. Sorry, no Captain America open face helmet for me.
