Default Share Or Stare

I know there is a lot of customizing talent on this forum. So how about sharing some of your handiwork here with big, beautiful photos?

You can post your latest project in mid build, before or after photos, but let's share so others can stare.

I just loaded up my latest project (my 1931 Indian 101 Scout) in the Classic Bike section to get things started.

I have a few classic bike projects to finish before I start my next new custom project, but I'll be happy to share when I do.

Here's a photo of my 101 to start the ball rolling. And No, Chris Maida, you can't chop it or put a 100 horsepower engine in it!

Beautiful bike Buzz. What can you tell us about this particular bike. Is it correct or modified. I don't know much about these old bikes other than what I read in AIM and here.

Do you ride it much? Beautiful!

Here is what I am working on a set of custom saddlebags to match my fender. These have been modified so many time I am making molds to cast the final set.
I am also changing the front fender to match the rear.
I have this posted in the build section so most people have seen these.
As how to post a large photo, put the photo in a photo web page like snap fish.
I keep mine here.

click on the photo, then copy the web link, then go to post reply, click on the little yellow square box with the mountains on it, it will bring up a link box and paste the link there.

Any plans to hide or "decorate" the bag mounts? Not that there's anything wrong with it now, just curious.

John 1:14

It is the duty of nations, as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions, in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to recognize the sublime truth announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the LORD.

Gunnert, when you go to get your web link, right click on your mouse while on the photo, go down to properties and it will show the link for just the photo, not the link for your album.
Copy that link.
When you paste it lose the first Http//
The link is getting broke up for some reason.
Oh yea nice bike.

Bob these bags are prototypes, there are several things that can be done with the hangers, I like them polished, but you could black powder coat them, leave them satin, or my original idea was to cover both the hangers and the lids with carved leather to match my seat.
Personally I like the hangers hidden in plain sight, I think they emphasize the curve in the fender make the bags flow.
Future planes are for a set molded right to the fender, with no hangers, but there are a lot of design problems to work out for that. Main one you would have to take off the fender bags to service the tire.
Right no I am up to my neck if fiberglass trying to get these done. They have been off the bike more than on.
Here is a right side veiw, sorry about the photo it is pretty poor quality.

Very nice job on the bags, HarleyCruiser. It's not easy getting that glass just right. That's much more than I would want to try.
