| | My Son's Custom Bike Picture of the bike my son just finished. He bought it as a '99 Fatboy. He had planned to do the wide back tire style, but since that has become a stock item, he went with the more retro-look. It is lowered several inches. I think it is beautiful and wanted to share it! |

| | Other side of bike, etc. Ok, here is a photo of the other side. As you can see, he wrapped the pipes in fiberglass.
The bike is a fatboy frame. He powdercoated all the black parts, wheels, etc. The handle bars are set seemingly high, but he says it is very comfortable and he's only 5'6" tall. The bike is lowered about as low as it can go. He was going to put a wide tire on the back, but somewhere along the line the vision changed and he decided for a strictly retro look. The whitewalls, seat, etc. are with that in mind. It took him about 2.5 years.
If you want to know anything else, please just ask and I'll find out for you!
Every Christmas or birthday he asked for parts or money to put toward the bike. Now he has an early 50's pickup he's working on.
The bell: his Uncle (a retired County Sheriff) also rides a Harley and he bought it for him when he first got the bike... |
