Ok, this is the second Psychiatrist I've offended with my little blurb. How about this, "You'll never see a Harley parked in front of a Psychiatrist office, but you might see one parked in the back or in reserved parking". Too much? Yeah, you're right. It's deleted with my apologies to the profession.

I park mine in front of the psychiatrists office all the time. It's great for the image. I exit the office twitching and shaking my head and shoulders and stare down the yuppie cagers, even bark at them. They give me a wide birth, it's lottsofun!

On subject: Drag bars, I put drag bars on everything, when the time comes for a standard I will put drag bars on it as well!!!!

HD 10 inch wide glide bars on my 97 Superglide and 12.5 Chubby apes on my 08 Road king but haven't been able to try them out yet. I've been waiting over a month for the for a 36 inch Magnum Black Pearl upper brake line.

I put these bars on my Deuce. Feel real comfy and I think they look cool.

Bluebob... is that whats on our 07' fxdb's...10" baby apes. They are perfect. I've ridden many miles and have not had the pain in the shoulder blades that many complain about, and I've felt on other setups. I have thought about some 2' risers just to see how that feels, but the stock setup really is the cats azz.............
I've run drag bars on many of my other bikes and always felt it was the way to go. These baby apes are my first set and I love em'.

They did end up blocking the stock mirrors so I installed some HD ones on the handlebars and ended up with much better rear vision with them.

Now if I really want to get wild I could try a set of these......

Hey Big

I had a Norton in the late 60's with pull backs about 10" rise. I didn't like the looks of the mirror sticking out way up there so I reversed it so it went under the bars and I got a totally clear view under my arms of what was sneaking up on me. It was so unobtrusive that a Pasadena,Ca cop once pulled me over thinking I had no mirror. The mount was a chrome aftermarket clamp and it had a round mirror on a cut off chrome bar. It was a clean look and gave great vision. The guy in your pic has a similar setup but in his case he's getting a clear view of his wrist watch. I guess that's so he'll know how many minutes he has left to live.

By the way those were the most comfortable bars for cruising I've ever tried. Control wasn't so great however. The kind of bikes I'm into these days are good with drags and a little but not much rise. The under mount mirror thang would hit the tank on my FXR.

I put 10" Harley Wide Glide Mini apes on my Dyna. The Dyna came with I guess you would call standard bars. Not comfy to me and I have had both mini apes and tall buck horns on my other bikes.

I am also thinking of putting 12"-13" Chubby Bars on mine but no higher. Will have to wait until the money situation is better before I do that.
