Default Correcting rear cylinder problem in CVO 110"

Any feedback on Harley's remedy to correct the rear cylinder by replacing several gaskets? Does more need to be done to cool the rear cylinder?

In the last four issues of AIM Donny Peterson has addressed this issue from his point of view. Check it out and decide for yourself. I've heard a rumor (and remember I said rumor) that HD has issued a TSB on the issue recently. You'll have to talk to your local dealer to verify that.

I am aware of the information you provided and I have spoken with Tattoo Tony (where Donny works). I was just hoping that someone else out there may have found a way to resolve the issue. It doesn't sound like Harley's remedy is anything but a band-aid.

A good friend of mine went with the Axtell cylinders and S&S 585 cams. Had the heads "slightly" ported. Appears to have helped with the oil temp by about 20 degrees. But, he swears the worst thing he ever did was buy a CVO because of the problems with the 110...
