Default Help Finding

I have a 1990 FXLR (low rider) and have purchased a Fat Bob tank for it. I need help finding a console to fit the tank. The tank has "Zel" stamped on it. I have bought a console but it is too small. The console needs to be 9 3/4 inches long to fit. Can anyone help? Thanks. kenaikiken@aol.com

Kena, your best bet for a fatbob tank for your FXLR would be to find an FXWG tank preferably from a 1990 but others years may very well fit ie, I own a 1997 SuperGlide which originally I was going to put a lowrider tank on but decided to go with a Dyna Wide Glide tank. Any Dyna Wide Glide tank from 1996-2003 will fit my SuperGlide. The reason I say you have to check is because when I purchased the first Lowrider tank it was for an early 90's Dyna[it now resides on Botz's 91 Sturgis], and even though it would have fit there were differences from the later Dynas. I still have the correct Lowrider tank for my Dyna but again decided to go with a WideGlide tank. And even though FXWG tanks and their associated parts aren't available on every street corner fitment would be assured and parts for it would be easier to find. E-bay would be a good start. Good luck.
