You make something outa nothin, you don't just talk it, you walk it too...
You remind me of the cats an kitties of the old days, make it come alive baby, yeah...
Now tell me, are you doing all or most of your own work, are you with the program..?? I dig it...

Kredfearn:
"When I grow up I will be a Harley"

frisco-rigid:
I do everything from scratch, from raw sheet metal and uncut tubing. And if it are electronic parts, I will make them too. No post order parts what so ever, except the lights, turning flashersand so on, which are strictly regulated and must fulfill the ECE-norms to be allowed, but I can live with that small part until the street legal registration, when I will do my own LED lights too at rear part of the bike. Remeber this is Sweden. the country of the rigid/stupid laws... :-/ But I have no EPA-laws to fulfill. No emission controls therefore to have in mind.
I live after the saying "little speaking/ chitchat, very much doing in the workshop". I have done everything on it by myself (surprised?). So no outsourced works on this bike!
This is made the old fashioned way , same way as before these post order days, and if you want just YOUR way, itīs the ONLY way to go.

Dual Carb, this is what I've been talking about bud...
This is the sort of biker/builder/person you used to see in the bike mags...

Get some photos and put em in the mag, let all the chrome queen wanna-be fake bikers see how it used to be and supposed to be done...

My question is for you Frisco-Rigid, I dont want to piss anyone off but I just have to ask you this, Do you know everything about everything ? You seem to have alot of input to everyones questions here. No matter what they say you have a answer and a comment. I saw your bike on here and know you ride, I understand what you say but is there not a topic where you dont have something to say ?? I am going to assume you are from San Francisco since you call yourself Frisco-Rigid, where do you find the time to sit here and reply to everything people write ? Just curious and dont be pissed at this, I am just trying to understand. Ohh I just want to know how do we know you are not one of those chrome queen wanna-be fake bikers ??

Softtail, I only comment on things I have personal experience with, perhaps you didn't notice that there are many subjects I do not reply to because I know little or nothing about them...
When I do it is because in 29 years I've built 9 sickles from bolt one and have well over 300,000 miles riding my own machines, and I rode many years before that...
I have done loads of experimenting and made lots of mistakes, when I share some of that it is not hear-say, bar-talk or opinion it is what I have done, learned, and experienced first hand on my own...
I certainly don't mind you questioning my er,uh, credentials, if you will, but one might wonder why... Wouldn't you get more satisfaction from contributing some of your own hard earned knowledge gained from your experience...

frisco-rigid!
Some update about the project, now I have made the lower engine mount ready and fixed, so now the frame will take the torque from the new, much stronger engine without problems. It is a very tight fit in the frame for the engine but better that than broken rear engine mounts. The bike will weight about 200 Lbs and have 15 hp+ so it will not be a slow snail on the road.
Later this week it will be started up for the first time and It will roar its music out of the exhaust pipe.... *I canīt wait almost! I have never had so fun for this little amount of money.

Very Well spoken Frisco. I am glad to didnt take my question out of context. Like I said in my post I understood what you say and yes I do appreciate your posts. I myself am not as qualified to do alot of work on Motorcycles since I was never into building mototcycles and do not have the knowledge that you seem to have. I have alot of experience painting as that was my occupation years back but no longer do my own work for reasons beyond my control. My question was just out of curiousity.
