Default Cheap Clock

If you own a bike without a clock built in to the digital readout (pre 06?) this will save you a few bucks. For my 04 Sportster I went to Wally world and bought a cheap ($7) black wrist watch. I removed the band and trimmed the mounts off and filed it smooth. I then glued it to the back of the brake master cyl. It was waterproof, and worked like a charm. If I had to do it again, I would have gotten one that glowed in the dark. Why pay big bucks for one that somebody might steal?

Good idea.

I was just ramblin around the forum and saw this post. I was always frustrated when riding and wondering the time. Always hard to raise the sleeve of my riding jacket while ripping down the road. So, I too went to Wally World and found a cheap watch. Instead of glue I used double-sided tape and stuck the watch on the neck bolt cover. Problem solved.
