Question Buzz: NEW CARBURETOR

I spotted a new carb in your Sept issue. It's called BIG AIR and made by a company called PSI and distributed by McAdvantages. They make some serious claims and for the price $1,099.99 they better be able to back each and every one of those claims! And it even suppose to meet 2010 emissions standards. I would like to see you guys at AIM put this carb through paces and give us a report to see if this carb is all it's cracked up to be!

Haven't heard about or tried it. But I will forward your suggestion along to Chris Maida, editor of AIM to see what we can do.

In the past I have tired a number of MC Advantages products and have been quite pleased with them.

Thanks.

Buzz

Default Amals

I kinda like the amal mono-block. the venturi is small so gas mileage would be good. they leak so top of mtr. would stay clean. and since I put a jikov on my bultaco, I have an extra amal just waitin to wake up my harley.

I'm with ya', Evo! I can tweak on a carb and not have to get a degree from ITT tech, unlike dealing with EFI.
