Hey Joe

Because each motor is diff there is no way for anyone to say what's proper for yours, all we can do is make suggestions and hopefully get close..
Did you get the instruction book/pamphlet, it explains Mik jetting real good..
I would start with a 30 low-spd and a 97 needle in the top needle slot, in-other-words, the needle in IT'S lowest position,, then ride and adjust as needed..
And leave the main alone for now cuz you'll not be anywhere close to it till you get the motor broken in.. Remember you don't get close to the main till you're over 3/4 throttle.. I'd bet a dime to a doughnut you run 90% of the time between 1/8 to 1/4 throttle except for the occasional fast take off or acceleration.. You will see what I'm talkin about when you mark the throttle barrel and the throttle grip as it explains in the book..
To give you an idea, at 100 going to NM on I-10 I'm about 1/4 throttle with the 120" motor.. That's with a 48 Mik at about 4200 RPM..
Timing is critical with big inches, what does S&S want the timing at.?
Get that done first..!! I like a fairly slow rate of advance and I would not be more than 30* full advance but that's up to you bud.. Are you using a VOES.?

We usually start with a 170 main and a 22.5 low speed leave the needle where it was from the factory and try that. It will get you down the road untill you get it tuned.
