I have an 06 FLSTNI, stock TC88 with a high five AC and Hooker Header Rebel pipes. I am using a PCIII to remap but can't seem to find a map that matches my bike. The maps that have been recommended to me generally are causing popping and backfiring when I let off the throttle to shift or coast. Is this caused by lean air/fuel mixture or is it an ignition timing issue?

Any help will be appreciated.

It's probably too lean on decel, Mike.

Yep, that seemed to be the problem. I enrichened it about 2% on the low RPM slot and that seems to have eliminated the backfores. Even going downhill with the throttle at zero!
