Default running rich?

I just put vance and hines basic slip ons, se air filter and a pcIII on my 06 road king. I used a canned 807-016 down load for the pcIII and then read the side bar that this map will run rich if used on the 06 with the new injectors and re-mapped computer. My dealer did update my bike after I had problems with back fire (so they told me). My bike is running smooth, but I did have that old back fire back when starting a couple of times. I have noticed that at wot the bike feels like it is holding back, when I let off (5% or so) the bike catches up and feels like it has more power. My question is what are the mechanical symptoms of running rich? my plugs look fine and I dont notice any black smoke or fuel smell. I dont want to waste more money on a dyno tune, it did not help my v-rod or the road king when I was having previous problems. Thanks for any help or advice you can give. If anyone has a set up like mine what map did ypu use.

Hodshire, Do you belong to the V-Twin forum? There's a guy from Dynojet there that can help you and it's free.

Hodshire, In the V-Twin forum go to the EFI section for help. I believe it says you have to be a premium member but you don't. All you have to do is do it through your email. This guy is really good, he works for Dynojet research. Just tell him your problem, what map you are using, he'll tweak it for you. Good luck.
