Default Any New Developments?

Am I missing something or has the initial fuss about EPA issues related to modifying Harleys and other motorcycles died down in the last few months?

A couple of years ago everyone was going nuts with how various states and the feds were cracking down on custom motorcycle builders and people who modified their Harley exhausts or ignitions with huge fines.

I have heard nothing lately? What am I missing or have the authorities moved on to new things?

I would venture to say that nearly everyone in Louisiana has modified fuel/exhaust systems on all bikes. I've never heard of anyone being targeted for loud exhaust here. I think the police have more than enough to do concerning more serious offenses here and don't have the time to bother with this issue.
I don't know about other areas. I've only ridden out of state a few times.

It never really seemed to be much of an issue here in Tennessee either as the Police have thier hands full with much more serious stuff. A buddy of mine that lives in Colorado Springs says the Police there are rough on loud pipes in Denver. Seems the EPA has quieted down as of late. But I'm sure they'll be back...
