Default Best Looking Harley Engine

Now that we can load polls on these threads, I'd like to try one to see what other forum members think is the best looking Harley engine.

To keep things even, let's keep these votes to bone stock engines with the carbs and stock air cleaners in place.

How do you vote?

Over the years I have owned and loved just about every tyype of Harley engine, but if I had to narrow it down, I'd have to say the Knucklehead is my favorite looking of the bunch.

Cool poll, thanks for posting it.

How can you put the Sportster with the Evo? Unit construction looks much different IMO. Space or lack of must have been more important. Anyway, the knucklehead is very pleasing to my eye as well.

I've got to go with the Knuck, too. I'd love to drop one of S&S's Knuck's in my Heritage and give it the complete 40s look. The Kucklehead is timeless and classic, and visually more interesting than any of the other motors, IMO.

In my opinion it is not only the best looking, but a stock 61" Knuckle makes the best sounds too. Full exhaust, retarded timing, solid tappets, properly sized camchest gears,
Oh man...but then, I really like the sound of a Flathead (45,74 & 80) too!

Default Great stuff

Despite the obvious reliability advances of the newer engines, the old ones with exposed oil feel lines. delightfully sculpted cooling fins etc. are eye candy for gearhead wackos like me. Football game or fascinating tech thread- I'll go for the thread every time.
