Default A case for the hydraulic lifter

Here's where I'm at.
At 45k I got into the cam chest (02 FLHT) to find the front tensioner shot. Just in time too. Decided to get out of the whole chain drive mess. So in came a set of Andrews TW26 and a set of drive gears. I thought it would be good policy to also change out the hydraulic lifters and pushrods (went with adjustables, made life easier).
There's 80k showing on the clock now and I'm hearing a little clatter, so I'm thinking another lifter swap is in order (Lifters... The "other" weak point of the V Twin).
So, the pair that's in now (PN-18538-99B) was recommended at time of swap. Partsman said "nothing wrong with them for stock lift and spring". I did notice during the swap, they had a bigger oil hole up top than the OEM ones.
What I'm looking for is "choice". Anything else out there that can outperform these stock "Chevy" lifters? (that's what they are!) I'm not looking for theory, done enough reading on Feulings, S&S, Crane, Jims. Looking for personal experience.
Thanks.

Pete
