Default Shake Rattle and Roll

I just purchased a 2006 Street Bob for my wife. When I picked it up the engine vibrated so much that the whole bike shook. I have a 95 inch Fatboy that purrs like a kitten. The salesman said that this is normal because the motor is rubber mounted. Is this correct or just BS ???

Purddy much so at idle bike is shaking but not vibrating. As you go up in rpms will steady out, she will feel less vibs and/or buzz than you and be a lot more comf on long trips 50 miles or more.

if the engine shaking in the frame cradle at idle is what your referring to - that is normal, its a rubbermount and the engine moves on its mounts - but the vibes you feel in the handlebars should abate when your at about 1800 rpm and up
