Default rocker box cover swap out, difficult?

the stock rocker box covers on my '08 fat bob are aluminum, and i've decided at this point they need to be replaced with some nicer looking chrome plated covers.how difficult is this to do myself?what tools will i need?is it something a relative novice can do?i've swapped out the air cleaner and exhaust and that was pretty easy, and i do my own maintenance, but that's as far as my experience working with these things goes.any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Get yourself the factory service manual. Jireh, J&p and others have specialized wrenches which will make it easier to loosen and tighten those bolts despite close clearances. You can do it!

that is a fairly easy job....like stated before,a manual is one of the best tools, you could modify a allen wrench(cut it off) like i did,cuz there is at least one fastener that requires it......the gas tank will have to be lifted or removed
