Default S&S motors

I am looking at getting a new motor for my Electra glide ( 1997) and I am thinking about the S&S V107T. Any one here have one or know about these?
Thanks in advance
Jim

You'll prob find some guys that think highly of them, myself and many of my peers do not..

I personally had two Factory S&S 113" motors that both came apart with-in 4,000 miles.. One of them also blew the head gaskets in the first 1500 miles..
I broke them in 100% exactly according to the S&S factory manual..
One of them was balanced sooo badly from the factory that it actually broke my frame at the front-right motor mount..
After total break-in it felt like a jack-hammer at 90..

S&S re-built them both and I sold em as quickly as I could..
I told the buyers the story exactly as it happened,, I haven't heard back from them so I guess the factory re-builds were OK..

The best motors I ever had were always custom, not factory built..
You might consider a High-reputation builder in your area.. He will use whatever parts he has found works best for his motors and that always works best for you..
Have a ball..!!
