Default Oil Light

I have a 2009 Fat Bob. With only 50 miles on the bike the oil light began to flicker. I pulled over and checked oil level which was ok but i noticed the oil filler cap was about a quarter turn from being fully seated. Oil light never came on for the rest of the day. Any ideas?

I would definitely take it back under warranty and have the dealer look at why the oil light came on. I don't see how the oil filler cap could possibly cause an oil light to come on but, I am not an experienced HD mechanic.
I wouldn't let this go and would want this event on record at the dealer in your defense of future problems.

+1 on letting the dealer know about this, getting it on record now wouldn't hurt. Could have have the oil pressure sending switch have an air bubble in it or the wire loose on the the sending switch.

I would have them look at it. They will tell you it's normal!!!
