Default Hemi Performance 96" To 103" Build

What do you think of the first part of the Hemi Performance 96" To 103" build story we did in the May issue? This complete job, installation included, costs under $4,000. Do you want to see more performance articles with a specific price tag?

Note: Due to my magazine production and travel schedule I will not be giving responses to posts made here. However, I will be checking them as often as possible to get your feedback. Thank you for helping us make American Iron Magazine the best it can be.

I enjoyed the article but wish I'd seen it last year before I did my SE 103" build. These are the kinds of articles that I read first, so yeah, keep 'em coming.

absolutely, more tech is always better.

Cost info is always nice. Too much stuff is a pipe dream, knowing if reality allows it is nice.

Awaiting patiently for part 2. Considering an upgrade this winter to 103. Tech stuff is great as well as price lists too. Low cost upgrades are always welcome. Botz

Just read part 2 of the Hemi 103 upgrade. Some good numbers posted. How many miles were put on it before it was deemed a reliable upgrade? Seriously considering an upgrade in the future and dont want to deal with heat/starting problems, etc.

Really appreciated that article since I am having a 103 build done at present, and I wanted to see what all a 103 was about.

Keep 'em coming. Would like to see what rider impression is on this build over a few miles other than a dyno review.

Also, was a 50 mm throttle body needed? I am going to run teh stock TB on my build, would like to see what difference is between 46 and 50 mm performance.

I think more tech is always a good thing but alota guys just simply don't realize that for about the same $4,000,, plus or minus,, that chris's post sugg'd it would cost, a guy can get a whole new BIG motor..

Gosh, spend about the same amount and end with TWO motors..

No Brainer..

Frisco, That is a good point. I'm wondering if this scoot has gotten some miles under its belt by now. ANy issues? Reliable? I will probably bump mine up next winter. Any update on this build Buzz? boTZ
