Pull cam support plate out, recheck cam to cam dots lining up. Can't go wrong from that point on. Chain drives only fit one way on the splines of rear cam and crank.
MoCo dropped the cam sensor in 02.

PS. Just HAVE to throw this in too...
Make sure you've got the right wire to the right plug.

Good luck

You have to make sure you're adjusting the pushrods with the lifter at the lowest point on the cam base on the compression stroke, also 2 1/2 turns on the S.E. pushrods is only 10 flats (4 sided)

Just F Y I
I guess i kinda freeked a little early. Like i said earlier ,it ran but sounded like it was a 1 lunger W/ a bad carb barely running ,so after rechecking =EVERYTHING // decided to just crank it & just let it run & in about a minite it started coming around and started sounding a whole lot better, i'm guessing the electronics or computer had some adjusting to do, any way she's running great now! it probably needs to be dyno tuned, but i'm gonna wait till i get a 2 into 1 pipe & retune er
Thanks for Yall's input !

Maybe a lifter wasn't able to lift, who knows. I do know it's baaad feeling...

When I adjust vtwin valves, especially when installing adjustable pushrods, I adjust each one seperate to it's cam lobe...it may take longer, but it's done once.
