Default big bore for sporty

I found an article in sportster corner in the Dec '04 issue that mentions an outfit called D&S Performance that makes cases for big bore conversions. Anybody know of or about them ?

How big do you want to go? Zippers makes big bore kits as does NRHS. You can go to 100 cu. in but the cases need to be bored out. you do not need to buy new cases. Both sites can be found on the Internet.

A 100 inch Sportster! Don't suppose there would be much on the street that could touch that. What does that relate to in HP and Torque? I thought my stock XL1200 ran well. I guess you would need a sissy bar behind the operator to keep he or she on the bike during lift-off.

Default Big Bore Sportster

Go to www.nrhs .com or zippers.com.Both companies have big bore kits. This is a job most motorheads can do themselves.Nrhs has plenty of dyno graphs on their site. How about 111 hp and 101 ft. lbs torque. Or 137 hp and 105 ft. lbs. torque. You will need to use Buell Thunderstorm heads and put in cams and ignition by crane or screamin eagle. Buells are sportster engines, they put out a lot of hp. Basically if you want to build a hot sportster use Buell parts
