Once you're done tweaking your Sporty, you might want to send a photo of yourself in the saddle for consideration in Snaps. AIM Features Editor Slammin' Sammy Whitehead is a Sportster fan at heart, and is always on the look-out for sporty Sporties to wax poetic about.

Nice bike, but can't recommend putting on a springer front end on it. If you want to go that way would you consider a rigid frame?

rigid has crossed my mind, but i've been saving that for my future pan project. I'm still in the air about my sporty... especially after yesterday... Friend of mine was visiting me, went to leave and didn't check behind him, needless to say i'm getting a new rear fender for my bike in the least, most of the entire right side components are scarred up, luckily the tank and front fender made it out perfect... but i'm not sure if i'm gonna be ridin it this summer or not, i pray the repairs are quick... maybe i can get his insurance to get me a rental or something, i gotta get back in the saddle soon before i lose my mind with all the bikes runnin around in the warm sunny weather we're havin here lately...

WOW! Looks great! Would love to see more pics.

EDIT: I just read your latest post. I'm so sorry about your bike. I hope you're in the saddle again soon.

I'm not sure if bigtime even begins to cover the debt he has to me right now, it's lookin like 8 - 12 weeks at best before i get the bike back... majorly cutting into my summer ridin time, and with diesel for my truck at 5.00 or over i'm in need of the good mileage
