Hi Kiss

Chrome on the motor retains heat..

Allow me to offer an opposit opinion..
I Never chrome anything, it does nothing for perfomance or reliability..

How much do you wanna spend.?

Think of the perfomance up-grades you can do with the same dough..

Hey-- just a thought,, have a blast..

I like Frisco's take... but amend it to say performance first, looks after. But it is all about what YOU like.

If it WAS up to me, and it was my bike... I'd chrome the front end.

John 1:14

It is the duty of nations, as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions, in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to recognize the sublime truth announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the LORD.

I'd take the whole bike wire it up and dip the whole thing in the chrome tank.

I'd say "wherever"...as long as it ONLY accented and/or high-lighted the REST of the bike W/O getting STUPID about it...according to MY taste of course !!!

If I could go back in time....I would have not gotten the chrome. Looks nice but you have to keep it clean or it looks like crap. Greasy finger smudges on glass crap. For a show bike yes. For a daily rider no. I guess I like to hose off and a quick dry.

Swing Arm and Belt Guard get dirty real quick. You have brake dust, Exhaust and road debry. Waste of money.

Front forks with chrome no where else would look like crap. I suppose the switch housing and Brake res cover would look okay. Folks have different tastes. Tough question.

I like the "lots of chrome up front, looks wicked with more black in back" look. Gives it an agressive look, sort of sleek- Bigger up front with a nice taper towards the rear. Chrom on an engine sucks.

Waiting for Kuryakyn to make a neck cover like they do for the geezerglides. Sporties are a HUGE market. I'm surprised more after market makers don't make more goodies for them.

To me, Sporties are some of the most customizable bike out there. You can do what you want to to an ElectraGlide, but it's always going to look like an ElectraGlide. But with Sporties you can swap so many thing and make people do double and triple takes and saying, "Is that really a Sporty?"

The next bike will have as little chrome as possible! I'd rather be riding than cleaning.
