Default primary cover differences

I have a chrome primary cover from a 04 1200 Sportster I was wanting to put on my 07 883. I noticed the part numbers changed some, whats the difference, from the outside everything looks identical

The only difference is the part number. They do this to confuse. They dont want you to put old or cheaper parts on your bike. They want you to by the new most expensive. You be surprised how many parts are the same with different numbers.
