Default FuelPak

If you have a Vance and Hines Fuel Pak on your bike, double check it or throw it off there, I had one on my 07 883C, while I was at the Mountainfest rally the bike started actin all wacked out, I took it to the shop only to find out that the fuelpak, which was installed according to the directions had rubbed its wiring against the frame until the insulation was rubbed through and shorted like 7 wires together, blowing half the coil pack... I bought the screaming eagle race tuner, and the bike not only runs better than ever, it gets better mileage and has more power to boot. This is one time I'd say just spend the extra $$$ and get the HD equipment.

Who mounted the original fuel pack? I always double and triple check to where my wires are hanging. Keep away from heat and possible abrasions. Glad the new device worked out for you. Use the fuel Pack to keep the pages open on the bike manual.
