Default just bought a wrecked 97

bike came from from illinois was red with everything chrome on it but the frame and the calipers,anyone know this bike
btw its a 883 hugger and its for my wife

I don't know the bike, of course I'm over here "next door" in Missouri. Sounds like a nice bike (prior to the wreck anyhow), nice of you to get it for your wife. Hope fully the damage isn't too severe and will be an easy fix.

no not really in bad shape at all,but i have to replace the tank,speedo and signals were missing as well,a few scratches in the chrome but not noticable from a distance

Cool! Post some pictures of it when you're done. You will probably invent excuses to borrow the wife's bike. Sportys are great fun to ride.
