Tat
Click on the thumbnail and enlarge it, then you can see those 2 tubes he added, start in the heads and route thru the air cleaer to the center of the 'mouth' of the carb or throttle body. then the air-flow draws the oil mist into the motor and cannot allow it to collect and drip.
The head part of the tubes are the outer ones in the picture, then in the center is the mouth of the intake.

Those two hoses on the carb are vent and over flow hoses, or a vacuum line possibly, probly best to leave them as is.

Hope that helps.

Ah, you dont have the same thing as what is pictured. You may hafta drill holes for the oil breather lines. I dont have your style A/F in front of me, so I dont know for sure. Can you take a picture and post it?

first thing tonite, thanks, this is been driving me nuts. and if you could answer this ? my plugs are a light greyish color. feels like it's running rich now is this normal. have had a bunch of prob with this. just to give a little back round. its an 883H which was converted (supposidly with a weisco piston kit no head work; got 65HP, dyna coils, and the alren ness stage 1 kit) 1200. don't know wat the stock 883 is for Hourse Power. and got insomniac pipes on it, maybe not the best choice for performance. thanks for the input.

oops! I should have looked at a picture of the Big Sucker when you first mentioned that's what you had..

It looks like the Big Sucker has addressed the breather oil issue... the breather tubes are built into the air cleaner backing plate and exit right at the mouth of the carb or throttle body. So there is no need to modify!

the bolts that hold the backing plate to the heads are the breather holes. those bolts should have hollow centers and a hole in one side (commonly called "banjo fittings") so the crankcase pressure can go thru them to those little tubes already in place.

Were you wanting to modify yours due to excess oil in the filter area? if so double check the mounting bolts to make sure the right ones got installed... the hollow ones mentioned above.

If you don't have hollow breather bolts, then you must have rocker box breathers...

Here's a pic of my rear breather on a 117CI S&S

and a pic of the front breather

Wow..

Uh, Check into those bolts a little closer...
did you install this kit? I forget if you did.,..there should have been the bolts provided,
but, if not, then a couple banjo bolts are probly the answer.
But then I kinda wonder where the crankcase pressure is relieving itself... if the bolts holdiing your backing place to the heads are solid bolts...then the breathers are basically...blocked...
