I purchased a 99 883, that I need to lower, how is this done, brackets, new shocks, another seat? Person whom this is for is 5'2" tall Ideally I need to stay within a budget.
Hey 72, a company called "Burly" offers a kit with fork springs and rear shocks that lower the bike up to 2.5in in the rear and up to 2in in the front. I've also seen brackets for the rear that basically move the bottom of the shock rearward about an inch or so. Try going to their website-WWW. Burly brand.com. Good luck
