Hi guys,
Own a 06, 883L. Thinking abt more power. Not sure if I should start with 1200 kit or build the 883. Any input?

Defenitly go with a 1200 kit!! There are numerous ones out there and I'm sure someone who has done this will jump in with their results

Tnx Hammerhead. I'll bet everyone will agree with you. NRHS has a good kit (1250) for abt $700.00. Just that in the past I've had good results with 883's.

I did the HD 1200 conversion years ago and wished I had known about NRHS 1250. That would have been the way to go. (I still may just pull the HD for that kit anyway, one day.)

1200 Pistons, Jugs and a cam change will give you a huge boost. You can get the headwork if you so chose done later. Add a new ignition module if you want.

The HD 1200 conversion will make your bike a little quicker than a stock 1200.

Has anyone done the kit from NRHS? I was pondering that a few years ago.
