Question XR1200 Stuff

Just picked up my 09 XR. Looking for a solid intake, programmer and exhaust. I like the look of the Vance and Hines new pipe. But I can't seem to find intake filters and programmers. Who's done theirs? What air filters are out?

As odd as this will sound to some...

Why not log into a sportbike site? Those are a popular bike amungst some of those guys... and if nothing else they may have some more input from watching it over in Euro all last year.

Two Wheel Fix is a site that comes to mind for mostly sportbikes.

I'm sure there are much better pipe options than V&H (IMHO V&H is junk).

Can you run other sporty intakes on it? I believe the power commander would also work on it..

Intake is the funky one under the tank, its kinda like a ram air. I thought K and N would at least have a filter for it.

I was impressed with the look of the high pipes from Storz performance. Might be worth checking out for your Sportster.
