Unhappy 1200C Electrics....

I have just been presented with a bill for £208.75 about US$300.00 (discount from £398.00 /US$577.00).

This princely sum was for diagnosing that water was ingressing and the wiring loom and penetrating as far the relays and fusebox, causing the battery run flat.

This has been diagnosed under HD Tech Tip TT322, do you think this could be claimed under the warranty....???

Sounds like a lot of money for something not that complex to identify. Good luck.

A motorcycle is under the same class as a car, it is expected to be driven in the rain and washed like a car.
This should be covered in the warrantee if it is still in effect.
I would refuse to pay for it.
If rats chewed up the wires then this is a type of stuff that is outside the warrantee.
