Welcome to the age'er's, rw. Yeah, been riding since forever and got a Sportster 1200 S... I suppose all you gotta do is ride the crap out of it and enjoy it too.

We have a 02' 1200 custom and only put in 93 octain, the bike runs great!

As far as gas... I stick to the branded names like sunoco, marathon, exxon/mobil, bp, chevron, etc. They have more and better additives.

I may know a few things about it... being in the petro industry.

I used to be in the petro industry. I always recomended Mobil gas and when they bought $5 or more I washed thier windshields!!! over $10 and I checked the air in the tires too

I'm in it prior to that grampadac. I'm in post refeinery logistics. Run an underground pipeline while ensuring product quality with receipt and delivery locations in metro detroit. Further about 80% of all jet fuel going to detroits international metro airport runs thru my facility. The other side of my company owns tank farms and truck racks where the gas is put into semi trailers and taken to the gas stations.
