Default '04 XLH1200C and Python3 Slip-ons

I just ordered the Python3 slip ons for my Sporty, and was wondering if anyone else is running these? My question is whether these are "obnoxiously loud" or not. I've read that they give a nice deep throaty rumble, but don't offend your ears.

I put them on the bike Wednesday - what a difference in performance and sound! I'm real pleased with the sound ..... loud but not offensive. Mounting was very easy, took less than an hour to pull the old pipes off and put these P3's on. The look is sweet! High on my list of things I'd recommend.

I have them on my 06 xl and they are awsome. Wonderful deep sound and good torque increase. You really should re jet the carb after this but I waited till I put on the K&N air filter.

with any of the slip ons if you add the filter and change the low jet and pull the plug for the mixture screw and back out. it really makes a big diffrence in the lean surge and spitting back. and it is a very simple mod. i think the low jet is around 5 bucks from harley. the screaming eagle air filter is the biggest expense 100 dollars or so. but well worth it in my opinion. and it actually changes the tone of the bike

it is a little more expensive on the fi bikes. both mine are fuel injected i went with the power commander 111 it is easy to get a map for. and adjustable if you do more mods later on. with just slip ons i have been told you are ok. but i always do the air filter and power commander just to be sure.
