Latest Mag, Charging System Upgrade

I have an '88 electra glide...the previous owner installed a cigarette lighter (yeah, I still smoke) and I'm changing my third regulator. The lighter draws about 6 amps by itself, so I know I'm killing the regulator with it...the charging system uses OEM parts.
The latest mag shows a charging system upgrade...imagine that!!! My question is this...the article states for 1981-99 Evo Big Twins, but Compu-Fires description states for Softtail/Dyna primary cases...
I know there's smarter owner's here than me...anyone know if it'll fit, or what needs to be done to make it fit?

OEM in your '88 is 22 AMP.. Soo,

You do not have to do anything but remove the OEM system and install the new style 32 amp system..
It will fit with NO probs..

You can fit any maker system, after-market or OEM..

If you purchase the whole system as a kit it will include all you need..
That is-----rotor, stator, V regulator, a subscription to Playboy and a bag of cheetos..
