Default Evo rocker box chrome bolt covers

I've got a leaky front lower rocker box on my 2000 Evo . It seems to be leaking from between the head and the lower rocker box so I have to at least get the upper cover off. The cover bolts have little chrome covers and I'm guessing that they are just pressed straight onto the bolt heads. Am I right in guessing that it seems they just get pryed off straight up? Any tips on how to not screw up the chrome on either the little covers or the rocker boxes themselves?

Thanks

milindh- Mine are just pressed on. I can usally pluck em off with my fingers. If not I grab a very small tip screw driver and pop em up enough to grab with my fingers. Just go slow and careful.

Thanks JC. Mine are pretty tight and I was hoping I wasn't going to have get a special Harley tool to get 'em off. Dang, that oil leak is getting worse every time I ride! I thought the oil was supposed to stay inside the engine. Foolish me.
