Default 1995 Heritage handlebars

I hate the stock handlebars on my Heritage. The previous owner has them pushed forward and I like this height, however the position of my hands cause fatigue on my wrist. I do not like the bars pulled back toward the gas tank like they come from the factory. My local wrench said a lot of people have the same complaint as I do. Has anyone here had the same problem? I want to replace the bars with something that has the same height as the stock ones but with the hand grips more parallel with the handlebar clamp. I also want to use all of the stock cables and lines. Any suggestions?? Thanks in advance for your help.

Try giving Flanders handlebars a call (1-626-792-7384) They've been in business forever & should be able to hook you up.

Thanks. I will give them a call. I really want to change the bars without changing the cables and such.

I took the bike out today for the longest run since I bought it. I think I am going to leave the handle bars alone. They were more comfortable then I originally thought they were. I filled the bike up, rode 50 miles and it took 1 gallon of gas. That was pretty good. I did not refill it since I got back. So I don't know if it got the same mpg's on the way home. I am very happy with this bike. I am glad I have it.
